About Us
We started The Cozy Furnish because we kept having the same conversations — standing in a furniture store second-guessing a sofa, scrolling through Pinterest wondering why nothing ever looked quite like that at home, or falling in love with a room makeover that turned out to cost more than a car.
There had to be a better way to think about all of this.
So that’s what this space is. Honest ideas, real inspiration, and practical guidance for people who want their homes to feel genuinely cozy — not just styled for a photo.
We cover everything from living room layouts to bedroom color schemes, kitchen organization to bathroom refreshes. The common thread is that we try to make it all feel doable, whether you’re renting a small apartment or finally settling into a forever home.
What We Actually Believe
Cozy isn’t a style. It’s a feeling. And it looks different in every home.
We’re not here to tell you to buy a specific aesthetic or follow whatever’s trending this season. We’re here to help you figure out what you actually want your home to feel like — and then give you the ideas and information to get there.
That means we keep things real. We talk about what works in small spaces, what holds up over time, what’s worth spending more on and what isn’t. We’d rather help you make one great decision than dazzle you with options.
Meet the Team
Lauren Bennett
Founder and Editor

Lauren started The Cozy Furnish after years of renovating, redecorating, and completely overthinking her own home. She has a deep interest in how spaces affect mood and daily life, and a slightly unhealthy obsession with throw pillows. Her approach to home decor is practical first, pretty second — though ideally both at the same time. She oversees everything published here and brings her own trial-and-error experience to every piece of content on the site.
Jessica Caldwell
Home Decor Writer and Blogger

Jessica is a writer and home decor blogger who has been covering interior ideas, seasonal styling, and room makeovers for years. She has a talent for finding the idea that works for a real home, not just a showroom, and her writing makes even the most daunting decor decisions feel approachable. If there’s an article on here that made you think I can actually do that, there’s a good chance Jessica wrote it.
